Kids at St Lukes
You can relax with your kids at St Luke’s.
The church family at St Luke’s is made up of people of all ages, shapes, sizes and situations. Here are some of the things we do for children, tots and teens.
1st Sunday of the month at St Luke’s : 3.15 – 5.15pm
Spend time having fun with your children; lots of crafts and things to do together, a short relaxed service and a yummy meal afterwards.
“It’s not cliquey and you don’t feel like your kids have to be perfectly behaved to come!” Messy Church mum
“We love coming here. It’s relaxed. I’ve made friends. I like the peace and quiet. My children are catered for. I can finish a cup of tea.”
“It’s somewhere to calm down. A good place to go. Somewhere safe for the children. Something fun to do together that doesn’t cost anything.”
2 nd Sunday of the month at St Luke’s 10.00am
All in together! An active mix of live music, readings, video clips, prayer and some surprises…and leave some space for hot buttered toast and coffee afterwards!
Tots in tow
Wednesdays during term time at St Luke’s : 10.00-11.30am
Pre-schoolers have lots of energy and curious minds! Being part of a playgroup is a great way to develop interest in the wider world, meet new friends and learn skills that prepare your child for school.
Tots in tow is a vibrant Stay & Play group where you will find the warmest of welcomes. Each Wednesday, we enjoy a short story and song together as well as coffee, a chance to chat and a safe play space.
